Audience Walks Out on Daniel Radcliffe’s New Movie ‘Swiss Army Man’

Sundance Film Festival starts with walking out of Daniel Radcliffe’s new movie, Swiss Army Man.

One of the most anticipated movies at this year’s Sundance has turned out to one of the most upsetting. According to reports, on Friday at the premiere of Swiss Army Man starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano, security was forced to away hundreds of movie fans and industry VIPS.

But, a few minutes later members kept standing up and heading for the door throughout the movie.

The movie centers around a man played by Paul Dano who becomes with a farting corpse. The Independent movie movie was directed by directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert starts with Radcliffe as a dead body washing onto a shore. Dano’s haracter inspects the dead body, as it comes to life by twitching and farting.

From Variety:

The story unfolds in a magical realist and features long discussions about masturbation, isolation and the meaning of life. It also features a kiss between Dano and Radcliffe (who continues to flee his Harry Potter image by taking part in a reoccurring gag where his dead character maintains an erection).

“The to play a dead guy in this context was too much fun to pass up,” Radcliffe said in an audience Q and A.

Scheinert said the inspiration for the story was “a fart joke.”
