Performer Casting Call for Science-Themed Family Show
Job Description
A paid casting opportunity is available for three performers to join Forces at Play, an interactive family musical comedy presented at Brooklands Museum. This unique production combines science, theatre, storytelling, music, and hands-on demonstrations to bring Brooklands’ pioneering history to life for audiences of all ages.
The production team is seeking energetic performers with experience in scripted performance, improvisation, and audience engagement. Successful candidates will perform throughout the show’s run at the museum’s Stratosphere Chamber venue.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scripted scenes and improvisational material.
- Engage family audiences through interactive storytelling and demonstrations.
- Participate in rehearsals and live performances.
- Collaborate with fellow performers and the creative team.
- Help create an entertaining and educational theatrical experience.
- Represent the production professionally throughout the engagement.
Requirements
- Strong performance and presentation skills.
- Experience in theatre, improvisation, live entertainment, or educational performance preferred.
- Ability to engage audiences of all ages.
- Comfortable performing multiple shows throughout the production run.
- Must submit a performance CV and headshot.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in science-themed entertainment and educational theatre is a plus.
Compensation Details
- Rehearsal pay: £100 per day.
- Performance pay: £150 per day.
- Total contract fee: £4,050.
