Since 1997, the tight-crew location production sound industry has shaped my life. From films and network news in Los Angeles, to documentaries in the far reaches of the globe, location sound is a passion. Primarily focused on documentary film and television, I have been blessed to have traveled from Fiji to Mt. Everest, the tombs of The Valley of the Kings to prison in Norway, add the frenzy of the Croisette at the Cannes Film Festival, spending the night on a US aircraft carrier 100 miles out to sea, and the jungles of Bolivia. Usually a department of one, I am not only comfortable, but stimulated by working on a myriad of projects, scripted and unscripted, in a multitude of locations, settings, and cultural landscapes.
