John Billam

Trained in London at the Webber Douglas Academy in 1970s. Had a varied and awkward life but despite huge upheavals and catastrophies am surprisingly sane, a virtual non drinker since 1990s (Christmas only) Non smoker since 1980s and drug free. Lost both parents in the middle of my finals at Webber D. Did theatre and little TV and made the mistake of getting married which ended in disaster. Made quite a decent amount of money but lost everything thereafter due to rudderless life style and simply catastrophic handling of my life. Career suffered and it took me in a different direction for some years, in order to stay afloat. Worked in voice over for a company making documentaries, since when my life has been stable - thanks to a wonderful actress friend - if not all I hoped it would be. Still trying to work as an actor though I am realistic. I like to write too. I believe have the talent to work in film and voice work. Life experiences taught me a lot about disaster and enduring the bad times.
