Two New North Carolina Shows to Bring Over 2,000 New Jobs

Date:

Good Behavior and Six to hire over 1,000 new jobs in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Two upcoming Wilmington, North Carolina TV shows are the first productions to receive funding from the state’s film grant program this year.

According to Star Online, TNT’s Good Behavior and History’s military drama “Six,” were approved to receive funding from North Carolina’s film grant program. Filming for both TV shows will start filming in early March.

They are the first programs accepted into the program since the North Carolina General Assembly voted to infuse the program with $30 million a year for each of the next two years.

In order to qualify for the program, TV shows must spend at least $1 million an episode. Based on its estimated qualified in-state spending, the project can receive up to 25 percent back from the state.

The productions will only receive the funding once filming is finished and a state audit is conducted.
