Job Description
A paid comedy short film production is seeking experienced crew members for key production roles. The project is looking for talented professionals to join the team for an upcoming shoot in Toronto.
Available positions include Sound Recordist, Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), and Production Assistant Driver. Candidates with relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative production environment are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Sound Recordist
- Capture high-quality dialogue and on-set audio.
- Monitor sound levels and recording equipment throughout production.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure optimal audio quality.
Digital Imaging Technician (DIT)
- Manage media transfers, backups, and file organization.
- Ensure footage integrity and data security throughout production.
- Coordinate with camera and post-production teams regarding workflow.
Production Assistant Driver
- Assist with transportation of cast, crew, and production materials.
- Support daily production logistics and operations.
- Help maintain efficient on-set workflow and scheduling.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the applied crew position preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable and professional work ethic.
- Resume and/or demo reel required for consideration.
- Valid driver’s license required for the PA Driver position.
