Job Description
A national commercial campaign is seeking confident, expressive individuals for an upcoming photo and video production focused on authentic representation of people with visible acne. Casting directors are looking for talent who can naturally engage with the camera and showcase genuine personality. The project welcomes diversity in race, gender, and appearance, including non-binary individuals.
The production is casting both principal roles and background talent for multiple creative concepts.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a professional photo and video shoot for a commercial campaign.
- Portray authentic, confident, and relatable interactions on camera.
- Follow creative direction from the production team during filming.
- Attend the scheduled shoot and remain available for production dates as required.
- Submit requested photos and self-tape materials during the casting process.
Requirements
Principal Characters (4 Roles)
- Ages 18–35 (priority given to ages 18–25).
- Must have visible moderate to severe active acne.
- Comfortable appearing on camera with visible skin texture and acne.
- All skin tones, ethnicities, genders, and non-binary individuals encouraged to apply.
- Piercings, tattoos, and colored hair are welcome.
- Must have an upbeat, expressive, and naturally confident personality.
Extras (2 Roles)
- Ages 18–35.
- No acne requirement.
- Comfortable appearing in commercial lifestyle scenes.
- Must be able to take direction and interact naturally on camera.
Submission Requirements
- 2–3 clear photos showing visible acne close-ups, including forehead and cheeks.
- One current full-length photo.
- Self-tape/video introduction including:
- Name, age, city of residence, occupation, and hobbies.
- Natural movements and casual interactions.
- Personality and attitude showcase.
- Confident poses and smile.
- Skateboarders are encouraged to demonstrate a kickflip or other skateboarding skills.
Compensation Details
- Principal Characters: $2,000 CAD
- Extras: $1,000 CAD
