Dawn Rose

Dawn was raised in the cool streets of London but born in Manchester, better known by her stage name D.C.R. which is just an abbreviation of her full name Dawn Claudette Rose. This soulful RnB singer and songwriter was created. Her parents Jamaican background meant that she was constantly surrounded by music in her home, which included reggae, soul and gospel and Motown. The likes of Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston, Bob Marley and Janet Jackson, to name a few, had a massive influence on her ever-growing love for music and entertainment. So the love of music was in her blood. She has since gone onto create her latest EP titled 'Dad' which is dedicated to her late father. A collection of smooth 90's style RnB songs written and sung by herself. She continues to write and produce new music in the studio and will be releasing new music this summer, to add to her collection on Spotify and all media platforms. As an actress doing film Extra work and features, she can be seen in various adverts, for KFC, Ikea, Tate & Lyle and Tesco's, along with being featured in films and tv series. Her talents are endless and she is definitely one to look out for.
