John Sheehy

I bring a unique combination of professional athletics, stunt performance, fitness expertise, and on-camera experience. I played collegiate football at West Texas A&M University before continuing my career professionally in the AFL, CFL, AAF, XFL, and The Spring League. My years competing at the highest levels of football have given me the athleticism, discipline, and physical awareness required for demanding film, television, and commercial work. My film credits include American Underdog and the John Madden movie, where I portrayed football players in game-action scenes. I have also worked as a body double for NFL stars Travis Kelce, T.J. Watt, and Aidan Hutchinson, requiring close attention to movement, physical resemblance, and performance detail. In the commercial space, I have appeared in Nike campaigns featuring Saquon Barkley, Kyler Murray, and CeeDee Lamb, as well as a U.S. Bank commercial featuring Christian McCaffrey. These experiences have strengthened my ability to perform naturally on camera, take direction efficiently, and contribute to high-level productions. In addition to my entertainment work, I am a fitness coach, bodybuilder, and certified performance specialist with certifications through EXOS, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and Precision Nutrition. My combination of professional sports experience, stunt work, and commercial acting allows me to bring authenticity, athleticism, professionalism, and a strong on-screen presence to every project.
