Job Description
A production team is casting for a proof-of-concept short film exploring themes of love, personal growth, and emotional honesty. Filming in Downtown Toronto, this non-union project seeks talented actors for two emotionally nuanced lead roles in an intimate and introspective story focused on relationships, ambition, and self-discovery.
Selected actors will receive lead credit, meals during production, and a copy of the completed film.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray emotionally grounded lead characters in a dramatic short film
- Deliver subtle and introspective performances on camera
- Participate in self-tape auditions and filming sessions
- Collaborate closely with the creative team and director
- Convey emotional depth through restrained and natural performances
Requirements
Miguel – Lead
- Male actor in mid-to-late 20s age range
- Comfortable carrying a subtle and introspective lead role
- Strong with non-verbal performance and emotional restraint
- Able to communicate inner conflict through silence and presence
Andrea – Lead
- Female actor in mid-to-late 20s age range
- Comfortable with emotionally grounded and nuanced performances
- Able to balance warmth with internal tension
- Skilled at portraying emotional honesty naturally
