Kendall Blue

My name is Kendall Blue, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies with a minor in Communication at University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I plan to graduate in August 2026. Before transferring to Nebraska, I spent three years as a student-athlete at University of St. Thomas. My college journey has allowed me to grow academically, athletically, and personally while building strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Before college, I attended East Ridge High School, where I developed a strong passion for basketball and leadership. Continuing my basketball career at the collegiate level taught me discipline, resilience, accountability, and how to perform under pressure. Being part of a team environment also strengthened my ability to connect with others and work toward shared goals. Through my academic experiences and work with youth in sports camps and summer programs, I discovered a passion for helping and mentoring young people. My long-term goal is to build a career connected to athletics, youth development, and family support services. I am especially interested in creating positive environments where young people can grow with confidence, support, and strong guidance. I pride myself on being hardworking, adaptable, and team-oriented. Whether in the classroom, on the court, or in professional settings, I strive to bring energy, consistency, and a positive mindset to everything I do.
