Karsi Ganyu

I am a proud POC performer of African and Caribbean heritage, born and raised in Australia. I’m bubbly, hardworking, professional, and passionate about bringing authenticity and energy to every project I’m involved in. I have been singing, dancing, and acting at a professional level since 2007, building experience across musical theatre, music videos, live performance, and competitive dance. My credits include performing in Candyman the Musical (2008), appearing in Holy Moses by Megan Washington’s music video (2009), and competing in Hip Hop dance competitions, where my team won the Varsity Division in 2016. As an independent artist, I currently have five original songs available on Spotify and extensive live performance experience as the lead singer of a disco-funk cover band. Performing live has strengthened my stage presence, adaptability, and ability to connect emotionally with audiences. I naturally emote emotion through performance, have strong comedic timing, and pride myself on being versatile, collaborative, and always willing to learn and grow to adapt to any role or creative project.
