NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is Looking for Diverse, Aspiring Actors

Date:

NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is looking for diverse aspiring actors, directors and producers.

Hollywood is combating the lack of diversity and one particular film studio is holding a short film festival looking for diverse and aspiring filmmakers.

The 11th annual NBCUniversal SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, the industry’s premiere ‪#‎diversity short film festival, is a nationwide search for talent both in front of & behind the camera, focused on discovering the next generation of storytellers.

This bicoastal festival seeks narrative content creations made within the last two years in two categories: DRAMA and COMEDY – this year, the festival will not only allow stand-alone web series episodes but also extends the maximum length of submissions to 22 minutes to allow for comedic pilot presentations.

Their goal is to not only celebrate aspiring directors, writers, producers and actors, but to introduce them to top industry filmmakers while awarding prizes ranging from camera packages to monetary grants to networking events.
