Filmyie is hiring a part-time Movie Content Creator to produce engaging, short-form video content centered around film analysis and storytelling. This role is ideal for passionate cinephiles who enjoy breaking down scenes, exploring filmmaking techniques, and sharing unique perspectives on cinema. Creators will produce weekly content designed to connect with an audience that appreciates deep, intentional film discussions.
Job Responsibilities
- Create one video per week covering selected films
- Deliver 2–3 minutes of high-quality, insightful content per film
- Analyze scenes, story elements, music, and filmmaking techniques
- Present original opinions and creative perspectives on films
- Record and submit raw, unedited footage on schedule
- Collaborate with the team, who will handle editing and post-production
Requirements
- Strong passion for films and cinematic storytelling
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas on camera in English
- Comfortable being filmed with strong on-camera presence
- Knowledge of film analysis, storytelling, and filmmaking concepts
- Technical requirements:
- 4K video resolution
- 30 FPS frame rate
- 16:9 aspect ratio
- Subject-centered framing
- Clear audio (English only)
- Must meet weekly submission deadlines (every Monday before 9 PM)
- Open to all genders, ages, and locations
Compensation
- Performance-based pay (earn per content output)
- Example: Payment issued after every 4 completed videos
