Job Description
White Horse Theater Company is seeking non-Equity actors for the West Coast premiere of Thistles, a contemporary family drama. The production will be performed at The Emerson at Theatre 68 in North Hollywood. This project explores complex family dynamics, identity, and relationships set against an emotionally driven narrative.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in a live stage production of Thistles
- Attend rehearsals and scheduled performances
- Collaborate with the director and cast to bring characters to life
- Memorize lines and deliver compelling, authentic performances
- Maintain professionalism throughout rehearsals and show run
Requirements
- Non-Equity actors only
- Strong acting ability with stage experience preferred
- Availability for rehearsals and full performance schedule

- Rebecca Frank (Female, 40s): Self-assured, determined, emotionally complex
- Laney Harnbry (Female, 50s): Shy, loyal, introspective, reserved
- Peter Crow (Male, 70–75): Warm, nostalgic, eccentric with childlike energy
- Lucinda (Female, 60–70): Energetic, outspoken, commanding presence
- Must be able to participate in virtual auditions and potential callbacks
- Must submit headshot and resume
Compensation
