Beatriz Méndez Peña

Bia Méndez Peña is an actress with experience in theatre, film, and audiovisual productions. She trained at the National Theatre School of Bolivia and further specialized in physical theatre and stage creation in Barcelona. Her work blends acting, movement, and experimentation, drawing from influences such as Commedia dell’Arte and physical theatre. She has performed in international festivals and stage projects across Europe and Latin America, including collaborations with artistic residencies like Vulnus Artes Vivas. In audiovisual media, she has worked in film, advertising, and international productions, including projects for platforms such as Netflix. In addition to her work as a performer, she develops collective creation projects, artistic pedagogy, and photography, bringing a multidisciplinary and socially engaged perspective to her practice.
