A proof-of-concept vertical drama series is assembling a core creative team for an upcoming production in Los Angeles. This project is a collaborative, ground-up production aimed at building a strong creative vision for a commercial series. The team is seeking both cast and crew members who are passionate about storytelling and open to a co-creation environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the production team to bring the project to life
• Fulfill role-specific duties based on position (Director, DP, Makeup Artist, Editor, Production Designer, Actor, etc.)
• Participate in scheduled shoot days and pre-production planning
• Contribute creatively in a team-driven environment
• Maintain professionalism on set throughout production

Requirements

• Prior on-set experience required (narrative, commercial, documentary, or branded content)
• Open to various roles including:
  • Director / Director of Photography
  • Makeup Artist / Costume Designer
  • Editor
  • Production Designer / Props Master
  • Actors
• Vertical format experience is not required
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute creatively
• Must be reliable and committed to the production schedule

Compensation

• Royalty-based compensation model
• No upfront payment; participants will receive revenue share from the commercial sale and distribution of the finished series

Job Responsibilities

Behind-the-Scenes Photographer/Videographer:

• Capture behind-the-scenes photography and vertical video content
• Document production process, night shoots, and candid moments
• Create content for marketing, social media, and festival promotion
• Adapt to a fast-moving, run-and-gun shooting style

Sound Technician:

• Manage audio recording, particularly for in-car dialogue scenes
• Ensure clear sound quality in dynamic filming environments
• Set up and monitor sound equipment throughout the shoot
• Work closely with the director and crew to maintain audio continuity

Requirements

• Experience in photography/videography or sound production
• Ability to work in tight spaces (especially for car scenes)
• Comfortable with overnight shoots and flexible scheduling
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a small crew setting
• Lavalier/wireless audio experience is a plus (for sound role)
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
