Job Description
A non-union staged reading of the original screenplay “Meet Me on the Brooklyn Bridge,” a queer romantic comedy, is now casting multiple roles. Written and directed by Parade Stone and produced by Odeya Pinkus, this project serves as an industry proof-of-concept. The story centers on diverse LGBTQ+ characters navigating identity, relationships, and personal growth in New York City.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform assigned roles in a staged reading format
- Participate in rehearsal and live presentation
- Deliver authentic and emotionally engaging performances
- Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members
Requirements
- Open to actors of various ethnicities, genders, and backgrounds depending on role
- Ability to perform in a staged reading setting (no memorization required)
- Must be available for rehearsal and presentation
- Comfortable portraying LGBTQ+ characters and themes
- Submission must include up to two takes per scene in one file
- Include name, location, and availability in submission
