Job Description
A new web series titled “Butch” is seeking talented actors for multiple roles in a character-driven story inspired by themes similar to Insecure and Noah’s Arc. The series follows three Black LGBT friends as they navigate mental health, relationships, and personal identity. Casting directors are looking to fill 2 main roles and 3 supporting roles, with additional roles expected to be announced.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned character roles authentically and collaboratively
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled
- Bring emotional depth to storylines centered on friendship, identity, and personal struggles
- Work closely with the production team and fellow cast members
Requirements
- Open to all experience levels (beginners and experienced actors welcome)
- Must be based in or able to work in the Houston or Golden Triangle area
- Reliable transportation is required if selected
- Strong communication and willingness to collaborate
