Job Description
An independent feature film is casting background actors for a scene filming in the Conroe, Texas area. This project is seeking a large group of extras to portray attendees at a historical math conference. It’s a great opportunity for aspiring actors and creatives to gain on-set experience, be part of a film production, and contribute to a unique, intellectually themed scene.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray conference attendees in background scenes
- Follow direction from the production team during filming
- Maintain continuity and natural background movement
- Arrive in appropriate wardrobe to match the scene setting
Requirements
- All genders and ethnicities welcome
- Comfortable appearing in a professional conference-style setting
- Must provide basic wardrobe (black dress shoes, white long sleeve shirt or button-up, black suit jacket, neat hairstyle)
- Reliable and available for filming in the Conroe, TX area
Compensation
- $20 stipend per person
- Opportunity to receive film credit
- Gain on-set experience in a feature film
