Job Description
A production team is casting talent for a dystopian LGBTQIA+ series. Selected actors will participate in a script reading fundraiser followed by potential casting in a paid pilot episode. This project offers actors the opportunity to collaborate on a meaningful series with strong representation and compelling storytelling. Rehearsals and production will take place in New York, with casting open to talent in the NY/NJ area.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform assigned roles during script readings and rehearsals
- Collaborate with the creative team to bring characters to life
- Participate in rehearsals leading up to the production
- Deliver strong, authentic performances aligned with the project’s vision
- Be available for potential filming of the series pilot
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work in New York/New Jersey
- Strong acting ability and comfort with scripted performances
- Ability to attend rehearsals and participate in a live script reading
- Submit headshot and reel (if not applying through casting platform)
- Open to diverse backgrounds and inclusive casting
