Haley Parker

Dr. Haley Parker, DAcCHM, L.Ac., Dipl. EAM is a licensed Doctor of East Asian Medicine practicing across Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, New Mexico, Florida, Georgia, New York, and New Jersey. As Director of Community Outreach and Partnerships at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM) since 2021, she leads clinic administration, academic integration, and large-scale community outreach initiatives across multiple campuses. A former Division I athlete and specialist in sports medicine and emotional health, Dr. Parker brings over 15 years of clinical, educational, and advocacy experience to her work. She serves on the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Professional Ethics & Disciplinary Committee, the Virginia Board of Medicine Acupuncture Advisory Committee, and the Acupuncture Society of Virginia Board, where she actively contributes to policy, ethics, and scope advancement within the profession. Dr. Parker is deeply committed to advancing East Asian Medicine through education, clinical excellence, and strategic advocacy. As part of this mission, she is expanding her presence in mainstream media to elevate public awareness and normalize integrative therapies within modern healthcare. She aims to bridge the gap between what patients are already seeking—holistic, preventative, and integrative care—and how medicine is represented in the public domain. By positioning herself as a leading voice and visible expert in the field, Dr. Parker is working to shape the narrative of integrative medicine, promote broader adoption, and establish East Asian Medicine as a respected and essential component of contemporary healthcare.
