Daniel Gavris

My name is Daniel Gavris and I can proudly say that I am a trilingual self-motivated and progress-driven professional actor, director and drama tutor with an extensive background in this industry and with a long-standing record of initiative and innovation. I define myself through creativity, humour, patience, responsibility and above all, through professionalism and punctuality. I always like to say that the best motivation is and remains your own will and knowledge to pursue a career. And this can only be achieved with a healthy dose of nerve, spontaneity, empathy, wit and fanaticism at work. As for me, my experience and my work, I can say that I had the first contact with the acting field at the age of 11 and the first pedagogical activity was a couple of years later when I decided to be a co-grounder of an association of this kind named, Theatre and Art-Club ''Arttis'' in my homeland. An Art-Club that organized workshops, plays for volunteering and theatre festivals and competitions between young artists. After that, I decided to move to Vienna to sharpen my knowledge in the fine crafts of teaching, acting and directing and graduated with a University Degree and then a Master´s Degree from V.I.D.C (Vienna International Drama Center) - Acting School Pygmalion. Being a nomad, I arrived in London, United Kingdom where I am part of MA Theatre Arts study at Middlesex University. As a professional actor, I was active for 7 hard years and, as you know, you have to deliver a high-quality performance, having a lot of responsibilities from the very beginning, building a role, being punctual, improvising and applying the knowledge accumulated so far. Skills and abilities that helped me design and create until now over 30 different drama characters and roles. I am an astute problem-solver as well, very capable of prioritizing and managing complex problems and analysis with proficiency and professionalism. In my previous commitment, I also exercised leadership, motivation, and Manager assistance in the contribution of team efforts and improvement. I am very open-minded and focused on new developments in my field, enjoying brainstorming and doing efforts to achieve a common goal.
