Charlize Theron joins the cast of Fast 8.
Charlize Theron must be following Project Casting on Twitter because she’s the latest actress to join the cast of Fast & Furious 8, Fast 8.
Theron is joining Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson in the last Fast & Furious movie.

According to reports, Theron has been in talks to join the cast for some time, but sources say her deal is now official. Apparently, the South African actress will play a villain in the movie.
A Facebook post on the film’s site stated: “Our crew will face its greatest adversary ever in our next film as we welcome Charlize Theron to the Fast family.”
She’ll join returning stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson.
The latest Fast & Furious movie is currently in pre-production in Atlanta, Georgia and is expected to start filming in the next few weeks in the ATL.

In case you are wondering, the last seven Fast & Furious movies were set in Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo, Panama, Brazil, London, and Los Angeles again, so apparently the next stop for the Fast & Furious franchise is New York City. It was rumored that New York City was going to become the next filming location for the Fast & Furious movie. In fact, during an appearance on The Tonight Show, series star Vin Diesel revealed that the next movie, which is going to be directed by the director of Straight Outta Compton F. Gary Gray, will take place in New York City.
According to the Georgia Help Wanted Hotline, producers are now hiring crew in Atlanta, Georgia and producers are accepting resumes for all crew positions (not acting roles).
