About:
Hi everyone, my name is Sebastian Achilles, I am a german actor from Berlin. I completed my acting training at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2001 to 2005. My first engagements took me to the Maxim Gorki Theater, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Schauspiel Zittau. I played the title characters in "Don Karlos" and "Romeo and Juliet", among others. After that I became a permanent ensemble member at the Grips-Theater Berlin for several years. There I appeared as "Bambi" in the world-famous world premiere production of "Linie1". The production "Über Jungs" with me in the leading role 'Victor Cluscrescu' won the theater Oscar "DER FAUST" in 2013. In the summer of 2011 I played 'August von Götz' for the first time at the Nibelungen Festival Worms in "The Story of Joseph Süss Oppenheimer called Jud Süss" directed by Dieter Wedel. In the summer of 2012, I again took on the role of the stuttering upstart von Götz in Dieter Wedel's production of "Das Vermögen des Herrn Süss". At the same time, I became known to a larger audience through the VW Tactics commercial for the 2012 European Football Championship. In 2014, Dieter Wedel brought me to Worms for the third time as 'King Thüring' for his farewell production of "Hebbel's Nibelungen - Born This Way". In addition to theater, I worked continuously in film and television. Here I can be seen in series ("Polizeiruf 110", "Der Staatsanwalt", various SOKOs) as well as in feature films ("Inga Lindström - Klang der Sehnsucht", "Becks letzter Sommer" "Rammbock", "Der letzte Mieter"). I took on continuous roles for NETFLIX's "Dogs of Berlin" and SKY's "Acht Tage" as well as episode lead roles in various ZDF productions including "Der Bergdoktor - Die Andere" or "Friesland - Bis aufs Blut". From 2013 to 2016, I played one of the three male leads, the rock rebel 'Elmar', in the Udo Lindenberg musical "Hinterm Horizont" in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz, directed by Ulrich Waller. For the production "Hinterm Horizont" I won the B.Z. Kulturpreis 2015 with the ensemble and received the "Berliner Bär (B.Z.-Kulturpreis)" at the award ceremony. Since the beginning of 2017, I have been on tour with the production FALCO - Das Musical in Germany, Austria and Switzerland every year until 2022, performing in large arenas such as Dortmund's Westfalenhalle and Cologne's LANXESS Arena. In 2017, I took on a continuous role in the science fiction series "Acht Tage" of the pay TV channel SKY. It was directed by OSCAR - award winner Stefan Ruzowitzky and Michael Krummenacher. Starting in fall 2017, I shot the series Dogs of Berlin for the other major VOD player NETFLIX, also in a continuous role until spring 2018, with Christian Alvart taking over as director. In the summer of 2018, I took on the lead role 'Huxley - The Paleontologist' in the arena show Dinosaurs - In the Realm of the Giants (original title: Walking with Dinosaurs), produced by Global Creatures and British broadcaster BBC Worldwide Ltd, based on the BBC documentary television series of the same name. Rehearsals were held in London, Newcastle and Paris. It was directed by Scott Faris. It went on tour in Europe in 2018 - 2019. From 2019 I will be part of the ensemble of the ARD production "Tiere bis unters Dach" in a continuous leading role. I am looking forward to our collaboration. Sebastian
