About:
Roosevelt Emerson, Jr., is a theatre artist, born on May 19, 1986 in Savannah GA. He is a High Honors graduate of Savannah State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual and Performing Arts. Roosevelt has been featured in short films such as, Unforeseen, At a Crossroads and Escape the Party. These films helped the artist master his craft and create a believable experience that the audience easily relates to. My plans are to become a professional actor and work for Tyler Perry Studios, Inc. He is a very goal oriented and ambitious person that believes education is the true key to success. The leadership programs that Roosevelt has been involved with was Youth Business Apprenticeship, 100 Black Men of Savannah State University and Educational Talent Search. These programs helped with his professionalism and leadership experiences that has been utilized both in his education and employment experiences.
Roosevelt has completed theatre training working as an Intern at Savannah Stage Company. There he learned how to build a design for the stage and organization of professional
stage production. Roosevelt also received training in staging a production and the use of media in a professional manner. Creativity is the key to getting the audience to attend the production.
