Mikkel Lund

I am a Danish actor, based in Copenhagen, with a career spanning over more than 28 years, in theatre, film, tv and commercials. I graduated from The Solid Foundation programme at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2002. I furthered my education in Denmark by studying with Keneth Carmohn, founder of The Danish Film Actors Academy in 2007. My greatest achievement to this day is playing the Guard and two other characters in “A Dreamplay”, by August Strindberg. It was performed at The Royal Danish Playhouse and directed by Anna Balslev in the fall of 2024. I have also been playing the title role in Odense Teater´s production, “The Elephant Man”, written and directed by Therese Wiilstedt in 2015. I can also mention the part as “Thomas” in “Neon Heart”, directed by Laurits Flensted-Jensen in 2019. In 2019 I released my debut EP “Built for Comfort”, with 5 songs by my own hand. The music is a warmhearted message to the world that everything is possible, no matter your circumstances. I have CP from birth which means that my arms and legs have failed me and I use an electrical wheelchair on a daily basis. I have fully accepted my disability, and I am more than willing to challenge the views of the public on the subject. I aim to widen my search for jobs to also include English speaking roles in European countries, using a Mercedes Sprinter van as a means of transportation. I am particularly looking to work as a character actor in thrillers, drama, tv-series, short- and feature films and, of course, commercials.
