Rumors are circulating around the Internet that Norman Reedus is upset with the amount of screen time on The Walking Dead.
According to Star Magazine, Reedus lobbied hard to get his friend Jeffrey Dean Morgan the role of Neagan in the hit TV series. But, now the actor wants more and he “is now putting pressure on producers to beef up both of their roles next season.”
However, this rumor quickly came to an end after the online gossip website, Gossip Cop, reached out to Norman Reedus’ team. They apparently denied all the allegations while also bashing Star magazine for writing such a story.
“Norman has absolutely nothing to do with the casting or storylines on the show. He has strong friendships with Andrew, Steven and Jeffrey, and is thrilled to work with them all as much as humanly possible. We would have given the same quote to Star, if they bothered to call us to fact check.”
It’s pretty clear that Negan will have a major role in Season 7 if the comics are anything to go by, although it is unclear just what Daryl will be doing in Season 7, seeing he has a new TV show for AMC.
