May Massali

Maya Sara Massali, known professionally as May Massali, is a 14-year-old aspiring actress and singer born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She was born on April 16, 2011, and comes from Somali and Moroccan descent. Growing up in a multicultural environment has shaped her perspective and helped her develop a strong sense of identity, creativity, and determination. May is fluent in both English and Dutch and also has some knowledge of Somali and Moroccan, which allows her to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. From a young age, May has always been passionate about performing and expressing herself through the arts. She first discovered her love for acting through school theatre projects, where she enjoyed stepping into different characters and telling stories through performance. Over time, this passion grew stronger as she continued participating in theatre activities both in school and outside of school. Acting quickly became one of her favorite ways to express emotions, creativity, and imagination. In addition to acting, May has a deep love for music and singing. In 2021, she participated in The Voice Kids NL, a popular singing competition in the Netherlands. During her time on the show, she made it to the Battles, which was an exciting and valuable experience. Although her journey on the show ended there, the experience helped her grow both as a performer and as a person. It strengthened her confidence, resilience, and determination to continue following her dreams in the entertainment industry. May is especially interested in acting in motion pictures and television shows. She enjoys exploring different genres and is particularly drawn to drama, comedy, and action roles. She loves the challenge of portraying different personalities and emotions, and she is always eager to learn more about the craft of acting. Her goal is to continue developing her skills, gaining experience, and eventually working on professional film and television productions where she can bring meaningful stories and characters to life. Currently, May is a high school student where she studies theatre and dance as part of her education. These subjects allow her to further develop her performance skills, stage presence, and creativity. At the same time, she takes her academic goals seriously and works hard to balance her education with her artistic ambitions. In the future, she hopes to complete her diploma and study law to become a lawyer, while continuing to pursue her passion for acting and music. May’s biggest dream is to become a successful actress and singer who inspires others through storytelling, music, and performance. She hopes to work on international projects in film and television and collaborate with talented artists from around the world. With her dedication, passion, and strong work ethic, May Massali is determined to continue growing as an artist and pursuing her dreams in the entertainment industry.
