Job Description
A production team is casting performers for a short play titled Safe Places: An Odyssey of Therapy as part of the New York Theater Festival Summer Fest. This non-union production will feature a 30-minute absurdist comedy exploring the complexities of family life, therapy, and personal growth. Selected actors will participate in rehearsals and live performances as part of the theater festival, with opportunities to be seen by scouts and industry professionals attending the event.
Job Responsibilities

Perform in a live theatrical production as part of the New York Theater Festival Summer Fest.

Role Available

Dr. Kolt / Luna – Ages 30–50. A slow-speaking, unnervingly calm therapist whose behavior blurs the line between deep spiritual awareness and uncomfortable impropriety. The character communicates heavily through physical proximity and subtle physical actions. Requires strong physical comedy skills and the ability to portray contrasting emotional states, including calm stillness and sudden hysteria. The role also doubles as Luna, David’s young daughter.
