Viola Davis to Star and Produce Amazon MGM Thriller Ally Clark
Viola Davis is once again teaming up with Amazon MGM Studios — this time for the conspiracy thriller Ally Clark. Following the streaming success of G20, Davis will both star in and produce the new feature, which is currently in development.
With an award-winning lead, veteran director, and powerhouse producing team attached, Ally Clark is already generating significant buzz in the entertainment industry.
Viola Davis Leads Ally Clark
In Ally Clark, Davis will portray a determined investigator who launches a perilous inquiry into an international conglomerate following the suspicious death of a close friend.
According to the studio, the case takes Ally Clark from the marble halls of Washington, D.C., to the sweltering bayous of Louisiana and the icy peaks of Alaska. The globe-spanning investigation promises political intrigue, suspense, and emotional intensity.
Davis is also producing the film alongside her husband and creative partner Julius Tennon under their JuVee Productions banner.
Phillip Noyce to Direct
Veteran filmmaker Phillip Noyce will direct Ally Clark. Known for his work in the thriller genre, Noyce’s directing credits include:
