Job Description

A new independent feature film is seeking experienced and passionate crew members for an upcoming production. The project tells the story of a grieving East Texas widower who finds unexpected solace through an ASMR YouTuber, leading to a transformative road trip that explores loss, generational wounds, and human connection in a changing world.

Production will take place in the Houston area, and local hires are strongly encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to collaborate on a meaningful, character-driven film with a dedicated creative team.

• Location Scout / Manager

• Production Accountant

• Script Supervisor

• Still Photographer

• Art Director

• Set Decorator

• Hair & Makeup Artist

• Costume Designer & Set Costumer

• Production Assistants

• Interns

Responsibilities vary by department but generally include supporting pre-production planning, on-set operations, department coordination, equipment management, and maintaining professional production standards throughout filming.

Requirements

• Must be local to Houston or able to work as a local hire

• Prior experience in the applied crew position preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, independent film environment

• Professional attitude and commitment to the production schedule

• Portfolio, resume, or reel required where applicable

Compensation Details

• Paid and unpaid positions available

• Compensation based on independent film rates

• Rate determined by position and experience level
