Caolan McClafferty

Caolan McClafferty is an award-winning actor, published model, voice artist and writer making a name for himself around the world in theatre, film and television. After leaving his native city and travelling to London, he began his passion as a theatre, television and film actor and model. Caolan has recently taken on Irish theatre with a starring role in "The Unfinished Broadside" which is set to extend its shows around the UK and Ireland. Born and raised in Derry City, Northern Ireland, Caolan has travelled all around the United Kindom, Ireland and across Europe as a performer and artist. Caolan has had many high profile projects throughout his career and worked with some of the world's most recognised performers such as Tinie Tempah, Will Ferrell, Hugh Jackman, Idris Elba and many more. Caolan's debut as a writer arrived in 2018 with his audio-animated feature film, "The Line", in which he wrote, starred and produced with YouTube sensation Mr Black Pasta. The pair have worked on several pieces together including "Project Wither" for the BBC which was aired on multiple radio stations and online in 2017 debuting him as a voice artist. Since then, Caolan has performed in a multitude of starring roles including the 2019 premier of his creature performance in Eq Film & Christopher Reith's "CHAIN". The film has travelled the world from Las Vegas to Barcelona and won a total of twenty-one awards and ten nominations. Caolan's career as an artist has been steadily shooting upwards and he has made appearances in other award winning short movies such as his very first camera appearance in Twisted Showcases's Press Play [voted top 25 worldwide by The Guardian] and his second appearance on film in Adam Bouabda's Socio Network [won best drama in Yorkshire Television Awards]. During his career as a model, Caolan has modeled on the catwalk and in editorial, high fashion and commercial for leading brands such as American Eagle and ASOS. Caolan was picked up as a catwalk model by Portugese fashion designer Cruz Bueno and after performing multiple shows, Caolan made his first appearance at London Fashion week in 2015 walking in Réka Orosz's nature collection. He was then scouted by Romanian bespoke menswear designer Florin Dobre, who brought him into London Collections: Men and has featured him in several London shows ever since; making appearances in British Vogue and British GQ, Caolan's career as a catwalk model travelled at light speed and he has made an abundance of appearances with major names at London Fashion Week, London Collections: Men, African Fashion Week, Belfast Alternative Fashion Week, Newry Alternative Fashion Week and performed for various major Charities such as Cancer Research, Macmillan and Mermaids.
