Persephone (Steph) Dixon

Hi, I’m Persephone — but everyone calls me Steph for short. Acting has always been something that’s quietly lived inside me, even if I stepped away from it for a while. When I was a teenager, I studied performing arts, and although it feels like a lifetime ago now, those experiences still mean a lot to me. Performing gave me a sense of excitement, creativity, and confidence that’s hard to find anywhere else. One of my favourite memories from that time was getting the opportunity to work as an extra through the British Youth Film Academy when they were filming Julius Caesar. Being on set was such an eye-opening experience. Even though I wasn’t in a main role, just being part of the atmosphere — watching how everything worked behind the scenes and seeing the production come together — was incredibly inspiring. I also had the chance to appear in a music video for someone I know who sings in a band. They aren’t a famous band, but the experience itself was still really special. Being involved in a creative project like that reminded me how much I enjoy performing and expressing myself through acting. Now, years later, I’ve been thinking more seriously about getting back into acting again. Life sometimes takes you down different paths, but the passion never truly disappears. Acting is something that can really bring out confidence in a person, and for me, it’s something I’d love to rediscover and build again. For me, acting isn’t just about being on stage or in front of a camera — it’s about expression, confidence, and telling stories. Getting back into it now feels like reconnecting with a part of myself I’ve missed for a long time. This is just the beginning of that journey again, and I’m excited to see where it might lead.
