Ryan Winsley

Ryan Winsley is an Actor from Dagenham who recently appeared in A Town Called Malice, Ryan started his professional acting career at the early age of 15 on stage at The Royal Court Theatre. After various TV appearances in The Bill, Henry VIII and In Deep, he then went on to train as an Actor at the Northampton School of the Arts. Continuing to work throughout his studying, Ryan appeared in feature films such as Crusade a March Through Time, Essex Boys Retribution and Piggy. More film and TV appearances followed, such as Behind the Line - Escape to Dunkirk, He who Dares - Downing Street Siege, Robin Hood and Silk. As a child Ryan was very out going and gregarious. He would impersonate characters from films and tv and enjoy entertaining his family and friends. This was the start of his love for theatrics. The local theatre school beckoned and Ryan (aged 11) attended Rhodes Theatre School every Saturday for 3 years. He got his first taste of the profession when filming an advert with Nicolas Lyndhurst (Rodney Trotter) for WH Smith’s. This is where his love and passion for the industry deepened and this is where he wanted to be. The seed was well and truly planted. Fast forward 26 years and Ryan is still hungry and passionate about making a statement and building a successful career in the industry. He continues to audition, network and apply himself to his craft on a daily basis. In his personal life, Ryan is a keen and skilled sportsman, He enjoys playing Football, Golf, Cricket, Rugby, Boxing and wintersports including Skiing and Snowboarding. He has a passion for music and is a professional DJ and has planned and promoted his own events, played at Clubs and Bars and also played at festivals. Ryan is currently in the process of writing a tv series and has a pilot episode written, and he is also creating a podcast with his friend and fellow actor Charlie Wernham of Bad Education. 2 episodes already recorded and edited.
