Giselle Fernandez

Gigi Fernandez is a Chicana artist/actress, singer-songwriter and activist from Long Beach, California. She graduated from the University of California of Santa Barbara first generation of her family where she studied Chicano Studies and found her voice in her music inspired by her culture, community and education. Proud daughter of immigrants from Mexico she’s not only achieved musical success but also passionate about giving back to her community making local impact by fundraising and getting involved with local community organizations like CHIRLA, protests and events to support social justice, equality, education and community since she was 15 years old. Living in Miami for a brief period after college she stepped out of her shell and entered night life in the bottle service industry and loves to have a good time from the club to a Mexican party con banda because life is about balance! She’s gone on to chart #8 on iTune’s Latin genre with her song “La Patrona” that was also placed on Mega 96.3 commercial Spanish radio in Los Angeles. In addition, performing with Power 106’s on their street team sponsored by Boost Mobile where they successfully hosted a back to school community event giving local families school supplies to support youth education. In addition, she’s opened up for popular artists Fuerza Regida, Ohgeesy and has even sang in Alicia Key’s choir a youth empowerment charity. Her brand ambassador work and commercial work aligns with supporting Latino businesses such being a Brand Ambassador for Luis Miguel’s tequila Don Ramon, influencer work for Kali Uchi’s album Sincerely P.S, music video modeling/casting work for Oscar Maydon and other major Latin artists. After being fired from her YouTube job producing millions of views for Brent Rivera and his AMP world team she made it a personal mission to execute her personal success as a statement that our Latino community is not just exploitative labor but we are also the face of the entertainment industry. Her blend multi genres from pop, hip hop, rnb, edm and reggaeton showcases her art without borders. From writing sessions with TY Dolla $ign, Mario and Wiz Khalifa she’s learned from some of the greatest. Music to her has always been healing and community based as she hopes connect her story through her vibrant and heartfelt sounds and lyrics while being out spoken in support of her community not afraid to step on toes.
