Alexis Gabrielle King

Hello! I am Alexis King, and I have a burning passion for the arts. Since my childhood in the Philippines, amongst the frenzy of our excitable culture and the sounds of impressive karaoke singing, I have known that I've wanted to pursue this career (and be a Disney princess/ My Little Pony character!). Singing was the catalyst for these feelings, and I now specialize in all styles of singing, including Musical theatre, Opera, folk/pop and more. I also recently became a singing teacher in order to spread my love (and all-important technique) for singing. Acting shortly followed as I had always been an exceedingly dramatic person. My experience lies mostly in Theatre, where I performed roles such as Donna in Mamma Mia, Alice in The Addams Family, Portia in Something Rotten, Delphi in Harry Potter and The Cursed Child and more! I, as a film and tv fanatic, also wish to be on a film set, acting for a camera. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to be in 'Break The Cycle', a short film created by my school friend Aadita Singh. I will be continuing my performing arts education throughout University, as I have been accepted into the VCA for the Musical Theatre Course, which is to begin next year!
