Scarlett Johansson is the highest grossing actress of all time.
After coming in second place behind Jennifer Lawrence as the world’s highest paid actress last year, Scarlett Johansson is now Hollywood‘s new box-office leading lady. According to Box Office Mojo, the 31-year-old actress is the highest grossing actress of all time. In fact, all of her movies have made more than $3.3 billion worldwide.
This will most likely have to do with the fact that she plays Black Widow in several Marvel feature films including Captain America: Civil War and The Avengers. However, she’s also known for other roles such as The Jungle Book.
In comparison to male actors, Scarlett Johansson is also in the top 10 alongside Harrison Ford, Samuel Jackson, Tom Hanks, and Robert Downey Jr.
Cameron Diaz landed at No. 13 with $3 billion in revenue, Helena Bonham Carter came in at No. 26, Cate Blanchett snagged the No. 29 spot, followed by Julia Roberts at No. 30.
