Matt Hawke

MATT HAWKE (he/him) Recent Graduate from the Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Elder Conservatorium of Music (ECMT), Matt is an actor-musician with experience across a range of performance styles from Golden Age Music Theatre to Modern Indie Rock. Professional credits include his recent directing internship with State Theatre Company of South Australia and various supernumerary work with The Australian Ballet, State Opera SA and GWB Studios. Set to perform in 4 different shows at the 2026 Adelaide Fringe, he is most excited for his Solo debut performing a one-man cabaret with completely original writing and music. Alongside this he also writes music with his band Sally Navara. In University productions Matt has appeared as J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2025, dir. Erin James), The Wolf/Cinderellas Father from Into the Woods (2025, Miranda Middleton), Alfred/White Rabbit in Alice by Heart, (2024, dir. Erin James) and ensemble in A Chorus Line, (2023, dir. Matt Hyde).
