Job Description
A student short film titled Daytimers is casting South Asian actors for a heartfelt, coming-of-age story centered on family, resilience, and self-discovery. The film follows a South Asian teenage girl living with epilepsy who embarks on a meaningful countryside journey with her aunt after receiving a life-changing invention. This is a character-driven project with strong emotional themes and cultural representation.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray scripted characters in a narrative short film

• Deliver emotionally grounded, authentic performances

• Collaborate closely with the director and fellow cast members

• Participate in a multi-day shoot in a supportive, creative environment

Requirements

• South Asian actors only

• Comfortable working on a student / graduate short film

• Available for filming in Bristol and surrounding areas

• Able to commit to a shoot lasting up to 5 days
