About:
"Zoey Deutch meets a young Keri Russell on the next hit Taylor Sheridan show" (Lesly Kahn & Co.). Caroline Baxter is a chameleon actor, screenwriter, model, singer/songwriter, and dancer born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Caroline was recently selected as a main featured actor in Film Independent's 2025 IndieLink Actors Showcase of actors to watch on the rise. She received dramatic acting training from the Atlantic Theater Acting School through NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in college and comedic training at The Second City Chicago throughout high school where she performed in and wrote numerous shows. She has a B.A. in Media Arts Production: Screenwriting (Magna Cum Laude; Gold Key Honor Society Top 5% of Class), from Emerson College. Caroline has additional filmmaking training from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and directing/filmmaking training from the University of Southern California's Cinematic Arts Program. She is an MFA candidate for Writing for Film & TV from Emerson College.
"Caroline has imagination and empathy and a strong sense of the majesty that theater can achieve. I think she'd be a fantastic addition to any rehearsal room because she is so smart, and a true believer, and a real artistic soul. She knows mythos. She loves mystery, and the numinous. This is the seat of her special gift. I feel with Caroline that there is so much inside- a whole universe of passion and imagination... others can benefit from it and ride it with her" (Anya Saffir, Director/Atlantic Theater Acting School).
Her first acting role was at the age of 7 where she played an asteroid in a grade school production of "Hair" singing "Aquarius." After that, she was in various school productions, played 2nd chair violin in youth orchestra, and was a prominent member of the xylophone orchestra. Growing up, Caroline was in youth rodeos in Dubois, Wyoming where she learned to wrangle horses at dawn, rope and race keyhole while also backpacking the entirety of the Teton Crest Trail, having climbed multiple mountains, namely, the Grand Teton by age 16. In addition to playing many sports, including field hockey, lacrosse, rock climbing and being the only girl in her town's boys little league baseball, she became the first female all-star pitcher in the league. She played tennis and soccer for nearly 15 years, competing at national and state levels, winning 2nd in state in both sports, and received invitations to play soccer in Italy with women's US youth teams. After sustaining a severe ankle injury her Junior year of high school, Caroline found herself in a theatre intensive semester and has been steadfastly committed to her craft ever since.
Caroline continues to build a versatile body of work as an ambassador and defender of the sentient, human experience, intelligently balancing drama and comedy. She is a jack of all trades and master of fun whose brilliance, empathy, and ingenuity render her adept at connecting with any human, no matter where they come from, or who they are, in an unparalleled manner.
