Märten Metsaviir

Estonian actor, trained at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (2020). Best known for the lead role in the historical crime trilogy Melchior the Apothecary, directed by Elmo Nüganen — one of Estonia’s most successful and widely seen film productions in recent years. His work spans film, television (Revenge Office) and voice acting, alongside his ongoing work as a company member of the Estonian Drama Theatre. Naturally drawn to investigators, strategists and composed professionals, he brings precision, emotional restraint and a strong physical presence to his performances, with a particular strength for stillness and controlled intensity on camera. Outside of acting, he works as a mechanic with a professional racing team and as a driving coach — grounding his craft in real-world pressure, technical discipline and focus. I can also be seen in one of the most viewed youth-based TV shows, “Revenge Office.” I have lent my voice to several cartoons and have narrated various television texts. Since graduating in 2020, I have been working at the Estonian Drama Theatre. In addition to my creative ambitions, I also work with one of the biggest go-kart teams in Estonia, serving as a mechanic and driving coach. I believe that these radically different fields play a crucial role in my personal development, fostering skills such as discipline, adaptability, and performing under pressure.
