Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! theme park ride is headed to Disneyland.
After transforming parts of Disneyland into a Star Wars theme park, Disney is back to announce that Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to their California Adventure Park.
Opening next Summer 2017, the attraction will allow visitors a chance to step into the world of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The ride will feature the mysterious Taneleer Tivan’s fortress-like museum of unique objects that he has gathered around the universe.
Here, the five Guardians are trapped in customized display cases suspended in space. Disney says, “Unbeknownst to their unscrupulous captor, the intrepid Rocket has escaped and is enlisting the Collector’s VIP guests for help. Guests board a gantry lift, which launches them into a chaotic and hilarious adventure as they join Rocket in an attempt to break his fellow Guardians out of captivity.” Stay tuned for more details as we near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! 2017 opening.
