Job Description
A non-union horror/thriller short film is casting multiple speaking roles for the project “Eyeless.” The story follows Macy after she’s kicked out of a college party and encounters a mysterious crying girl covering her eyes. Production is seeking actors who can portray college-aged characters (20s) and deliver natural, grounded performances with strong emotional range. Crew interest is also being collected separately by production.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scripted scenes for a horror/thriller short film, including dramatic and suspense-driven moments.
- Take direction from the director and production team and collaborate with scene partners on set.
- Participate in rehearsals, table reads, and filming days as scheduled.
- Arrive prepared with lines learned and maintain professionalism throughout production.
Requirements
- Must be able to portray a character in their 20s (college student age range).
- Comfortable performing in a horror/thriller tone (suspense, tension, emotional intensity).
- Ability to work well in an ensemble cast and follow on-set direction.
