Job Description

A short film production is casting talent local to San Antonio, Texas for lead roles. The project is seeking performers who can bring strong emotional range and on-camera presence to a dramatic story. Actors of all backgrounds are encouraged to submit, provided they match the character breakdowns below.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a featured lead character in a scripted short film.

• Take direction from the director and collaborate professionally with the production team.

• Attend rehearsals and participate in filming as scheduled by production.

• Arrive prepared, camera-ready, and able to deliver consistent performances across takes.

Requirements

Role 1: Melody (Lead)

• Playing age: 21–30

• Character type: Engaging young woman central to the emotional arc of the story

• Look notes: Blonde hair (natural or wig) and fair/light complexion preferred for continuity (hair color can be achieved via wig or dye)

• Must be comfortable portraying the specific look required for the role

Role 2: Chivalry (Lead)

• Playing age: 25–35

• Character type: Strong, principled male with a commanding presence and strong sense of honor

• Look notes: Athletic or fit build, confident demeanor (hair color/ethnicity may be open—focus is on capturing the character’s presence)

• Must be comfortable portraying the specific look required for the role

Compensation Details

• Paid daily rate (negotiable based on experience)
