Atlanta Filmed ‘Powers’ Canceled

Date:

Playstation’s Powers canceled after two seasons.

The Atlanta filmed TV series was canceled by Sony Playstation after two seasons. Co-creator and executive producer Brian Michael Bendis revealed the news on Wednesday.

The show was Playstation’s first step into creating new and original programming when it launched on the Playstation Network in 2015.

The TV series filmed across Atlanta, Georgia for two years. ‘Powers’ is based on Brian Michael Bendis’ comic, and features Sharlto Copley as a cop who works in the Powers division of the police force and deals with crimes involving those endowed with special powers.

It’s unclear if Playstation will film another TV series in Georgia.
