Tech Photoshoot Casting Real People to Portray Computer and IT Professionals

Job Description
A paid tech photoshoot is seeking everyday people to portray computer technicians and IT professionals for a professional image library shoot. This is a great opportunity for new talent—no modeling or acting experience is required. The production is looking for a diverse mix of men and women with all body types and abilities, ages 35–65, who can look natural and confident on camera in a workplace setting. If you have real experience working with computers or in IT, that’s a big plus.

Filming will take place near Houston, Texas, and selected talent will work one shoot day during the scheduled production window. Some roles may be eligible for additional pay if final images are used.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a tech employee (computer technician/IT professional) in a staged workplace environment

• Take simple direction for natural posing, expressions, and realistic on-the-job actions

• Arrive prepared and professional for a full-day photoshoot

• Work comfortably with a crew in a studio/location shoot setting

Requirements

• Ages 35–65

• Open to all genders, ethnicities, body types, and abilities

• Must be a local hire in the Houston, TX area (no travel provided)

• Comfortable being photographed for a commercial image library

• Not required to be a professional actor or model

• Bonus: real experience in computers, IT, or technical work

Compensation

• $500 for the shoot day

• Additional $500 if photos are used (potential total $1,000)

• One-day booking within the shoot window (exact day provided upon selection)

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in professional commercial and digital ad shoots

• Follow creative direction from producers and photographers

• Portray assigned roles naturally and confidently on camera

• Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout the project

Requirements

• No braces, must have a clean and camera-ready appearance

• Multiple roles available including:

  • Males & Females (20s–50s)

  • Infant baby (4–5 months old)

  • Grandmother (late 50s) and Grandfather (late 60s)

  • Teachers, professionals, and lifestyle models

  • Height requirements for select roles: 5’4”–5’5”

  • Tan complexion (morena) for some roles

• Open to both new and experienced talents
