Job Description

A narrative short film is hiring crew for an upcoming three-day shoot in Hollywood. The production is seeking a Production Coordinator and Production Assistants to support day-to-day operations, set logistics, and communication across departments. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with an active team and join an ongoing crew rolodex for future projects.

Job Responsibilities

Production Coordinator

• Support production planning, logistics, and day-to-day coordination.

• Assist with call sheets, schedules, and crew communication.

• Coordinate paperwork, releases, and basic office coordination as needed.

• Help track production needs across departments and escalate issues to production leadership.

Production Assistants

• Assist with set operations, runs, and general production support.

• Help with equipment/department coordination, lockups, and maintaining set flow.

• Support craft services and ensure crew needs are communicated promptly.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to keep production moving efficiently.

Requirements

• Prior experience in indie film production is preferred (but not required for PA roles).

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.

• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift light-to-moderate items (as needed).

• Must have reliable transportation to and from set in Hollywood.
