DJ MelBoogie's passion for DJing started in radio over 30 years ago. She made her mark as the DJ/Co-Host of Droppin’ Dimez Radio, Canada’s ONLY All Female Hip Hop Show, and as the DJ on the JUNO Awards Tribute to 50 Years of Hip Hop, she shared the stage with some of Canada’s greatest icons of Black music, including Kardinal Offishall, the Dream Warriors, Choclair and more. The performance was televised nationwide and viewed by 2.2 million people as part of the 2023 live television broadcast. She’s also opened for some of the most respected names in entertainment, including Kevin Hart, LeBron James, Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte, and Q-Tip, and has gone on tour with some of Canada’s top artists, including Maestro Fresh Wes, Michie Mee, The Sorority and more. She uses her voice and platform to empower other women and is also a dedicated mother of 3.
