Moritz Bauer

Moritz Bauer is a German, bilingual leading man — restless, charismatic, and most at home playing characters with edge and warmth in equal measure. He most recently led the feature film Follow Me (Hammer Films / Supernix, dir. Chloe Wallace) as Jack Mercer, performing entirely in accent-free English. A native-level English speaker, Moritz completed his BA in English and American Culture fully in English, including a semester at Radford University in the US, and has lived over a year in English-speaking countries. He trains regularly in London at Run At It Shouting with Alicia MacDonald (The Outlaws), and on General American with dialect coach Eliza Simpson (Fantastic Beasts, Avatar); he has also studied with Kirk Baltz (Reservoir Dogs). His range runs from commercial leads to grounded character work, supported by physical skills including motorcycle riding, martial arts, horseback riding, freediving, Latin dance, and singing (baritone).
